 The FILL The VOID Spring 2004 Skills Clinics
 will be operated by Complete Hockey, and coach Larry Pedrie.

CURRICULUM
The FILL The VOID clinic will focus on skill development and refinement, and serve as an opportunity to remain on the ice in March, during the break between winter and spring seasons. The skills to be concentrated on include: skating, passing, puckhandling, and shooting. Each practice will incorporate drills directed at each of the targeted skills. All drills will be designed to be executed in a high-tempo manner, so that skills are learned and developed at full speed rather than half speed. The practices will be conducted in a challenging, vocal, and positive atmosphere. The players will be pushed and encouraged to give their best effort.

DATES AND TIMES
The clinic will be offered to three different age groups on the following dates and times:

MARCH
8(M), 10(W), 12(F), 15(M) & 17(W)

GROUP 1 1995-1993s 6:00 – 7:15PM

GROUP 2 1992-1990s 7:25 – 8:40PM

GROUP 3 1989-1986s 8:50 – 10:05PM

COACHING STAFF
The clinics will be operated by Larry Pedrie, owner and operator of Complete Hockey. Larry has been coaching professionally for over 20 years and brings a wealth of experience to youth hockey in the Chicagoland area. Larry has worked at the youth level since 1996 and his background includes 15 years as a coach at the Division I college level, as well as 4 years as a scout for the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks.
 
Larry’s current involvement and resume include:

  • Director of Hockey Operations, NAHL

  • Commissioner, NAHL

  • Program Director, Chicago Chill AAA Hockey Club

  • President, Complete Hockey

  • Head Coach, Univ. of Illinois at Chicago

  • Assistant Coach, Univ. of Michigan, UIC, and Ferris State Univ.

  • Advance scout, Chicago Blackhawks

  • Assistant Coach, Chicago Freeze
