Welcome to
Selects 2005
Evaluation Showcase for GIRLS
Complete
Hockey is pleased to offer its first evaluation camp for
girls: Selects For Girls/2005 (SFG), April 8–10, 2005
at Arctic Ice Arena in Orland Park, IL. The camp will showcase
top level female hockey players to a variety of college and
prep school coaches. Over the three day camp, the girls will
have the opportunity to practice and play in front of the
attending coaches.
The purpose of the camp is to provide top
level players the opportunity to come together under one
roof, compete against top competition, and work for the
chance to advance their career in front of college coaches.
Too often, girls are not provided the opportunity for
exposure to the higher levels of girls hockey. SFG will make
certain they receive this opportunity.
Complete Hockey has a rich history and solid
reputation for providing players the opportunity to advance
their careers to higher levels. For the past five years,
Complete Hockey has offered an identical camp for boys,
known as "Selects". Hundreds of players have used Selects as
a stepping stone to their future. With the growth of girls
hockey, Complete Hockey is proud to lead the way in
providing the same opportunity for female players.
Don’t get caught "watching from the
outside". Take advantage of Complete Hockey’s history of
success to enhance your career. Join us in April for your
chance to secure your position in your hockey future. Sign
up for Selects For Girls/2005 today.

A
LETTER FROM
CAMP DIRECTOR
Larry Pedrie
IIt
is my pleasure to bring a camp like
Selects For Girls
/2005 to
the many deserving female players in the
Midwest. With the great success we have had with
the boys camps for the past 5 years it only makes
sense that the girls will now enjoy the same
benefits as the boys. I am confident this camp
will provide opportunities for female players that
they would otherwise not receive.
|
I have spent my entire life in hockey and have built a
personal reputation based upon experience,
professionalism, and honesty. I have had the pleasure of
spending 15 years in college hockey coaching at the
Division I level; with 6 years as a Division I head coach.
Following my years in college hockey, I served as an
advance scout for the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks from
1996-2000. Each of these experiences has allowed me to
develop relationships at the college level which I can now
use to assist in the advancement of the careers of young
female hockey players.
|
|
|
Over the next few months, through relationships already
established, I will work to secure the attendance of every
girls’ college hockey program to Selects For Girls/2005.
Sincerely,
Larry Pedrie
Director Selects 2005
